I really can't say enough great things about Mike and Jessica Wolf. We were introduced through a referral of a close friend and fellow real estate agent. He wasn't licensed to work in California, but he told us he felt completely comfortable putting us in the hands of Mike and Jessica. Upon our first meeting, I knew we had the right people that would work for us not just try to make a quick sale.
My fiance and I were first time home buyers that weren't really sure about what was out there, and we were very cautious. Jessica worked around our inflexible schedule to make sure we saw what we wanted to see asap. She and Mike worked long and late hours to make sure we saw properties when it was convenient for us or got our offer in first thing. Even after months of searching they never made us feel pressured into putting an offer in on anything we didn't love.
One thing we really appreciated about both Mike and Jessica is that they were quick to point out things that we wouldn't like, even if my fiance and I didn't notice them. They got to know us very well, as well as our specific tastes and preferences. I felt this was extremely important because they could identify future issues that in the excitement of buying a home we may have overlooked.
After months of searching, we finally found our perfect home. Mike and Jessica worked extremely hard to negotiate the best deal they could for us. They made the difficult phone calls to aid us in the closing process and made sure documents were done on time and made sure we weren't taken advantage of in the long and tireless paperwork process.
After we closed on our home Mike and Jessica didn't just disappear. To this day we get phone calls just to check in and make sure everything is going ok, birthday cards, holiday gifts, as well as invitations to their awesome client appreciation parties such as catered seats at Padres Games or open bar and buffet at awesome restaurants in Old Town. I am blown away by their genuine care for their clients.
Overall, our experience with Mike and Jessica couldn't have been any better. They go the extra mile for their clients and treat you like friends instead of just another sale. Their honesty, hard work, patience and dedication has made us not only lifetime clients, but great friends as well. My husband and I decided to take the plunge and begin the search for the purchase of our very first home. As newlyweds, we were enthusiastic about finding the perfect home to call our own and start a family. Unfortunately, we were unaware of how important it is to have the perfect realtor to accomplish this. After 3 years of seraching and 2 real estate agents with no luck, we were highly recommended by close friends to meet Jessica Wolf. We couldn't have made a better decision. We were referred to Mike by a coworker at work. Mike met with us after hours, set us up with an online home search site, and walked us through the general process of buying a home all in the first evening. Mike encouraged us to use the site to make notes and once we found properties that we liked, we drove by them to see the neighborhood and the home exterior and decide if we wanted a viewing. Mike would meet with us after work or on weekends to see as many properties as we liked, and would point out features that we might like or dislike. He was helpful and informative, and best of all proactive in making arrangements for us while we were at work or busy with other life activities. He was prompt with returning calls and emails- I don’t think we ever waited more than 24 hours for a response. Often times his wife Jessica (equally qualified and located at the same office) would help us or show us homes if Mike was not available. We spent about three months looking before we settled on a home to make an offer on. My wife and I decided on the price and Mike performed the negotiations on our behalf. He gave us honest assessments as we went along. Initially we could not come together on a price and Mike agreed with us on our decision to walk away. We thought it showed a lot of integrity on his part to stick with us instead of pushing for a sale. Eventually the seller came back and met us very close to our price. Mike explained the purchase agreement to us, guided us through our contingencies, told us what to expect, and managed inspections and disclosures. Mike’s referral for a home inspector was excellent, and he also had referrals for financing, repairs, insurance, etc. During the negotiation process and closing, Mike was in constant communication with us and was a great asset in negotiating price and repairs. We would highly recommend Mike to anyone looking to buy or sell a home in the San Diego area. We were new to the area and first time homebuyers, Mike made our home purchasing experience fun and easy…we couldn’t be more pleased with our decision of our realtor and new home!

With Jessica’s diligent assistance, she helped find and fix an issue prior to closing our condo in Spring Valley. Jessica scheduled a final walk through, I thought we already did inspections so I just “walked through” the property until Jessica pointed out the crack on a bedroom ceiling, I was shocked and I expressed concern. I liked the property a lot, but I was not comfortable purchasing a condo with potential problems.
Jessica took several pictures of the ceiling, and sent them to the list agent to inform her of the issue. Jessica contacted the HOA immediately and insisted they take care of the roof leak and problem prior to the interior ceiling to be fixed. She also found several reputable contractors who can provide great service, and Jessica took quick action to meet at the property the same day to get a quote of the work needed. Jessica discussed the problem with the HOA, negotiated the cost with the list agent to get the seller to pay. In conclusion, the roof drain system & leak was fixed, the bedroom ceiling was replaced, all without costing me a single penny, and most importantly the property closed on schedule.
This is what I call above and beyond. I am sure Jessica and Mike will provide such excellent services once they become your agent.

When I met Jessica, I was a first time home buyer with extremely high expectations and demands. I also practice real estate law and am trained to be skeptical. Jessica far exceeded my expectations and answered all of my questions!
I wanted to purchase a home in the North Park/University Heights/Normal Heights area. At the time, there were few homes on the market that were in my price range and move in ready. We got the condo in Chicago- can’t believe it. We are still NOT out of the San Diego thoughts- so keep your cards, listings and letters coming.
Also I want to commend you on how you handle yourself, and tell you what a fantastic real estate agent you are especially compared to the guy we used in Chicago. He was completely unengaged, not caring, and aloof. We probably spent a total of 25-30 hours looking at property, and meeting at the unit with contractors to estimate the re-do. This in our opinion was not too much, and that was over a year’s time frame. We bought the place, he showed up at the closing, dropped us off at our hotel, and went on his way. We have NOT heard one word from him since. Not even a card, bottle of wine, flowers, or phone call to see how we did the first night.
I am absolutely sure you would NEVER do that. While I do not necessarily think a real estate agent needs to bring gifts- a phone call at a minimum shows you care. He didn’t, doesn’t, and will NEVER get any of our business again. Even the mortgage broker came to the closing (closings are very formal there) with a bottle of wine, congratulating us. What an ASS.
So the morale of my note is that you have spoiled Amy and I with your good deeds, and I know one day we will buy something from you. Amy and I said more than once during the Chicago thing we wished it was YOU.
