Things to Do in Del Cerro
Del Cerro is home to two public parks, Princess Del Cerro Community Park and Del Cerro Park. There is also the Del Cerro Park which connects to a public pool and tennis court. There is also a lot of grassy space to run around and play on.

Although it’s technically not in Del Cerro, Mission Trails/Lake Murray are right next door and a huge benefit of living in here. Lake Murray is a great place to visit for fishing, BBQing, or simply for running, walking or bicycling around the lake. Mission Trails Regional Park is home to over 60 miles of hiking trails, five peaks, wildlife and plants galore. This park is one of the largest municipally owned parks in the nation. Adobe Falls became a landmark in 1973 and has now been closed off to visitors. This landmark lies in a canyon owned by San Diego State University. Adobe Falls is known for the graffiti art all over the rocks and the seasonal waterfall that flows through it. There is no legal access to this spot as it has been fenced off after visitors began leaving trash and graffiti. The city is currently exploring ways to remove the graffiti in an environmentally safe way.
